For years, we’ve advocated using Google Flights to find the very best flight deals, and let them come directly to you via price alerts. Tonight, just as we were tucking into bed, we got an email from Google saying that prices had dropped on Qatar Airways business class flights from Europe to Hong Kong, bringing the very lowest prices we’ve seen in quite a few months. ]

Even better, the flights feature Qatar’s amazing Qsuite business class, which offers a full on privacy door, in addition to the dine on demand goodness. These deals won’t last long, so here’s how to book while you can. And don’t forget, you can hold a booking for 72 hours!

Update: these deals have now expired. Come to GSTP more often to get on the best deals, or bookmark our deals page….

The Flight Deals To Hong Kong

Qatar Airways has just announced an extreme price drop on flights from Stockholm to Hong Kong, with round trip business class from £1050 round trip. That’s a mere $1350 USD, which is as low as Qatar has gone from Western Europe in a very long time, particularly to such an incredible Southeast Asian hub.

From Stockholm, you have the ability to book the Airbus A350, which may or may not have the new seats, but provides an amazing experience, and between Doha and Hong Kong, you’ll be guaranteed Qsuite. If two passengers happen to be travelling together, you can even enjoy a double bed in the sky – because why not – right?

The Dates You Can Travel

These flight deals are available on select dates from October 2019 through May 2020, with a variety of dates in each and every month. That’s nothing short of incredible value. For anyone hoping to carry on further, Hong Kong is under 4 hours from Tokyo, or Singapore, which makes it a truly incredible gateway. Note: dates in green are departure dates available at the lowest prices…

To enjoy the lowest prices, you’ll need to stay at least six nights, but being that you’re going all the way to Asia, that shouldn’t be too big of a deal. You’ll probably want to stay a while. And by the way, don’t be put off by Hong Kong at all. As far as visitor life goes, things are almost entirely back to normal.

How To Book These Amazing Business Class Deals

These deals can, and probably should be booked directly with Qatar Airways on QatarAirways.com. Doing so gives you a better look at seat maps and allows you to put your booking on hold for up to 72 hours while you figure out your plans and tell your boss you’re never coming back going on vacation. Just search ARN to HKG, and look for round trip prices of 12996 SEK, which is circa £1050, or $1350.

Here’s the link to book directly with Qatar Airways, and here’s a link to the same flights on Skyscanner which also has these low prices. However you book, you’ll love Qsuites. Here’s a review of the Qsuite, and a review of the other A350 business class seat you may end up on between Stockholm and Doha. And since destinations are just as wonderful as luxury flights (wink implied) here’s the essential tips for visiting Hong Kong.

  1. Who the hell wants to go to Hong Kong right now ?

Stockholm as starting point and the argument of then flying on to Singapore ? In economy ?

Sorry but only good if you want to go to Hong Kong and no-one does right now.

Now get something decent from London to Asia and we can celebrate !

    1. I can’t even comprehend this comment haha, but to each their own.

Hong Kong, even at the height of disruption was barely noticeable for tourists. Now, conflicts are almost entirely out of tourist eyes.

It’s a short flight from so many amazing places, and you’ll enjoy some of the best hospitality in the sky for what would be a very long flight, at prices below what people charge in premium. I’d happily use a few miles to do a 2 in 1 to Tokyo or something of the sort.

I just do not see how you can be glass half empty about this.

  2. The doha hkg leg is not guaranteed in QSUITES. I know I’ve tried…. Still good business class but I ended up with an old business class so yeah. Not guaranteed at all.

  3. Any idea why the latest round of cheap business class airfare deals to Asia originate in Stockholm, and so many in general are out of Scandinavia? Is it the geographical inaccessibility, comparatively low population, frugality of the locals, or something else?
