Done the right way, Bali is as good as it gets. Beautiful surroundings, beautiful culture and yes, sandy beaches too. Getting there can be a pain, because most of the best sales don’t actually involve travel to Bali, just somewhere near it. If you want to spice things up, you should totally consider a side trip to Nusa Lembongan, or Nusa Penida, which are gorgeous little islands just a 30 minute ferry ride from Bali. And yes, you should hike a volcano too!

That’s a cracker fare from Europe to Bali and business class on a long-haul is the only way to go if you can manage it. It’s certainly hard to go back to cattle class afterwards!
