Hello, Cyber Monday!. Updated today, with lots of new offers, and many sales ending soon!

Black Friday and Cyber Monday bring serious hype to the travel world, and in the last few years, they’ve actually delivered. With the industry in tatters, this year could be the biggest ever. And don’t forget to save some room for #TravelTuesday either!

There are flight deals that are legitimately lower than any other day of the year, 99% off hotel coupons and even crazy flash sales which offer things you’d never imagine to be true, if you’re quick enough to jump on them.

Wouldn’t it be nice if there was just one place where you could find every deal worth shouting about. We thought so too. Here’s your one stop shop for all the best Black Friday & Cyber Monday travel deals, many of which are going live shortly.

This page will be updated as travel deals are released, so keep checking back. For now, take a browse through some early launches, including 50% off from Viceroy!

2020 Black Friday & Cyber Monday Hotel Deals

With fewer people traveling, 2020 and 2021 is going to bring one of the best ever years for Black Friday deals. While previous years often topped out around 25-30% in “real” savings, this year we’re expecting much bigger numbers, with way lower prices.

Oh, and hot tip – online travel agencies like Expedia and Hotels.com can be found down below this section in the online travel agency deals area. Enjoy!

When it comes to hotel luxury, Rosewood is top-top in the game. The brand has hotels all over Europe, Caribbean, Mexico, USA and Asia, each with their own insane standard of refinement.

In a rare move, the company is offering 40% off their best available rates, for a limited time until December 1st, 2020. You can view the sale here.

Viceroy Hotels

Viceroy is one of our favorite brands for luxury stays, with boutique charm, and the brand is out early, with up to 50% off starting November 19th, almost a full week ahead of other activity. Perhaps most importantly, these deals offer flexible cancellations and other benefits.

Accor Hotels

Right now Accor, the group behind Raffles, Fairmont, Sofitel, MGallery and other desirable hotels has some amazing promotions around the world, with different offers for each region, including its many stunning hotels in the Maldives, and top properties in Asia, USA, and beyond.

The Maldives is never cheap, but being able to clamp down on expenses while there is great. Check it out here.

South America: Accor is offering up to 50% off stays, and a few nice benefits like breakfast, extra points and date change flexibility. You can check out the rates here.

Elegant Hotels

Ok, it’s not a big chain, but if you’re going to Barbados – these are the spots. Elegant Hotels is offering an excellent Black Friday Sale, with huge discounts, including all inclusive options.

Barbados is one of the most popular destinations this year, with solid covid-19 protocols and year round sunny weather. The House and Colony Club are regarded as two of the best hotels on the island, and with rates a fraction of their usual price, it’s a good time to cash in.

Hyatt & World Of Hyatt

Hyatt has an early bird 30% off points purchases, which is about as low as Hyatt Points ever go for. The opportunity to buy at this discounted rate ends tomorrow, November 24th.

In addition, Hyatt is offering 20% off all rates for spring and summer 2021 getaway, even those booked by travel agents. You’ll need to book by December 6th to benefit.

Radisson Hotels

Radisson has two unique offers out. Well, one unique offer and one very standard one. The unique offer is a buy one stay, get a secret discount code for a huge discount on your second stay. The first could obviously be an incredibly cheap one night stay, to help save on a longer, more expensive stay.

The second offer is just a standard 30% off, but hey, 30% is a discount and we all like booking things for less. If you’re a Radisson fan, check it out.

Marriott Hotels & Marriott Bonvoy

Marriott is starting Black Friday off early, with its best ever bonus on points purchases and a 15% discount on gift cards, which can be super lucrative. The company has been generous lately on the redeeming points side too, making all hotels “off peak” for certain periods of time to increase points value during the travel slowdown.

You can buy Marriott Bonvoy Points with a 60% bonus, which ties the best ever bonus offer for purchasing points. You can buy Marriott Bonvoy Points here. You must buy by November 25th to enjoy the 60% bonus, which will go down the next day. The limit has also been increased 3x!

If you know you’re going to spend X number with Marriott during the year, acquiring a gift card for 15% off is an amazing way to start saving, particularly when you take advantage of a great subsequent sale to save even more. The discount applies after you select the amount, on the final page before you enter your card details.

On November 30th, Marriott will offer 15% off gift cards for two days, right here.

Fairmont Hotels

From 2PM-5PM EST on November 27th, 2020 Fairmont will offer a 20% bonus on gift card purchases, which basically means you can save on a future stay. The gift cards do not expire.

Any time you can acquire something you’ll definitely use, for less than it’s worth, it’s a win. You can purchase up to $5,000 in total, in increments of up to $2000. Smaller amounts, like $200 are totally fine.

2020 Black Friday & Cyber Monday Flight Deals

Black Friday and Cyber Monday are starting early this year, with some offers already out to beat the big rush. Here’s a collection of everything that’s live, or coming.

At least one major airline told us the best deals will begin early from November 22nd. We’ll update as offers pop up over the next couple weeks, but here’s a few early offers.

Hawaiian Airlines

Hawaiian has some ridiculously low fares available for travel from Mainland USA to a variety of Hawaiian Islands, starting at, not $300, not $200, but $198 round trip. That’s about as low as it ever goes.

These deals are available for near term travel, but also flights well into next year, so whatever you’re looking for, it’s worth a browse. Obviously the lowest prices skew to the West Coast, but East Coast has some gems as well. Check out Hawaiian’s Black Friday Deals here.

Lufthansa & Swiss

Lufthansa and Swiss have some fabulous offers around the world, but the best we’re seeing are for luxury travel in first or business class from London, if you can book for two.

The USA receives $100 off via a special promo code.

That’s the price for two passengers round trip, not one!

You can currently book first class to incredible long haul destinations, like Asia and Africa in first class for £1500, and business class can be found for under £900 per person. You can view the Swiss offers here, and Lufthansa offers here, selecting business or first.

Price for two passengers in first class round trip!

In business class Swiss definitely beats out Lufthansa on experience, and in first it’s a toss up.

British Airways

British Airways Black Friday offers are here, and are underwhelming at first but there are some gems to be had. You can take a browse here. The main thing of note is that promo code BFoffer which will take 20% off the price of any flight, with the exception of first class.

This now has British Airways matching the £1000 London to New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco fares in business class, for bookings up to the end of June 2020. They initially appear as £1250, but using the promo code drops the price.

The sale also bring economy Europe package trips at the same low £99 per person levels we see consistently year round, some discounts on Sandals vacations and a nice discount at lovely Six Senses Hotels. Let’s hope Friday brings something more…

Not related to Black Friday, a British Airways silver lining is that you can fly first class from London to the USA for circa £1600 round trip, which is almost unheard of. That sale launched over a week ago. You can view those offers here.

Both East and West Coast is available with dates well into 2021, even toward the end of the schedule. We’ll update this once the official sale kicks in.

Virgin Atlantic

Virgin Atlantic has a HUGE sale thatwent live November 23rd, which will make many luxury travelers happy, and bargain hunters too. Economy start from £239 round trip, Premium from £449 and Upper Class to almost anywhere Virgin Atlantic flies for £999 round trip. There’s also 50% off all points bookings! Details here.

US to UK Upper Class has been added for $2000 round trip from all gateways.

Virgin Atlantic has also launched the “Escape Pass” which lets you book a trip from London or Manchester guaranteed to avoid the need to quarantine when you return back to the UK.

Avianca LifeMiles

LifeMiles is a loyalty program to care about because it helps travelers use points to unlock first and business class for a fraction of normal prices.

Right now, there’s an insane 200% bonus sale, which ties the best ever offered.

With these prices, first class can be had for around $1000 all in. For example, you can fly from USA to North Asia for 90,000 miles one way, or between Europe and USA for 87,000 miles one way in first class, and sometimes fewer during a sale. Acquiring miles at 1.1 cents a piece (USD) makes this very enticing, but keep in mind you’ll need to find availability to use your miles, rather than flights being available on any date.

Southwest Airlines

Southwest is always offering crazy flight deals, and if you haven’t seen them it’s because they don’t show up on Google Flights or other sources. You’ll need to go directly to Southwest.com to check out prices.

But, the airline is offering a major discount on points, with 45% off gifting or buying. If you’re like GSTP, points gifts beat sweaters from relatives. You can browse the points sale here.

Qatar Airways

After much waiting, Qatar Airways Black Friday Sale is here. Is it revolutionary? No, not at first glance, but we hear there are golden tickets hiding in the midst, including places like Zanzibar. To take advantage, enter “BLACKFRIDAY” in the promo code section for 10% off. A few standout deals thus far include…

Cathay Pacific

Cathay Pacific is out with some really strong travel offers, which vary from region to region, but do offer up to 50% off. Hong Kong remains largely closed to outside visitors but is also an excellent place to transit.

For the UK, Cathay Pacific is offering 50% off your second ticket, in any cabin. They’re also offering £1700 Business Class from London to Hong Kong, which brings things around £3k for two. For anyone hoping to use the buy one get one half off promo, you buy one at a regular fare, and receive a substantial discount on the second.

For the US, Cathay has rock bottom fares, from $468 round trip in economy, around $1000 in premium and $2700 in business class. All offers can be found here.

Lufthansa has 2 for 1 deals on First Class, where you can fly from Europe to South Africa for £1400 per person. Not business class, first class! Lufthansa hasn’t cut back on catering or fine china during the pandemic, so the experience is juts as it was before.

This is an amazing way to catch up with a traveler favorite destination which just reopened, with no social distancing to worry about on board, thanks to your huge fully flat bed.

Just follow this link, and there’s easy instructions to enter the promo code and start searching for travel until June 30th, 2021.

Hotels.com

Hotels.com is big into Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and has already launched offers. The fan favorite hotel booking site with the easiest loyalty program in the game, with its buy 10 get 1 free deals is offering up to 50% off, all around the world.

Logging in, or creating an account helps to pull up even lower deals, as does using the mobile app. You can view the latest offers here, and there’s free cancellation on most hotels right now.

Hotwire

Hotwire has some of the “hottest” hotel deals out there from time to time, and that’s probably going to be even more true during Black Friday & Cyber Monday. Hotwire is offering 12% off already discounted deals, but only if you use their mobile app, and enter code BF12, to enjoy the discount.

2020 Black Friday & Cyber Monday Travel Gear And Experience Deals

From great phones to the best luggage on the planet, cyber week tends to offer great opportunities to grab travel accessories worth having. Here’s a few we’re liking so far…

Away Travel Luggage

Away is offering up to $150 off luggage sets. It’s not quite the 50% off cyber sale we saw earlier in the year, but if you missed out, this is your next best chance to grab GSTP’s favorite luggage at a discount.

Here’s a review of the Away Carry On, and why we became obsessed with the day bag and backpacks. Here’s the US Sale, and the UK Sale.

Blade

On November 22nd last year, Blade Mobility offered 2 for 1’s on US airport helicopter transfers. That was a ridiculous deal, where two people could fly for $145 all in, if you used promo code GILBERTO187 when signing up and then BLADEFRIDAY at check out.

It brought the price down to $72.50 per person which is unheard of. Let’s hope for another one of these?

Google

Seen the photos the Google Pixel takes, or want a discount on something else? Google has already launched a little sneak preview of their Black Friday sale with $150 off most products and a variety of bundles too. The full sale with extra discounts starts Nov 22nd. Details here.

The Pixel 5 now has a wide lens camera in addition to the standard top quality photo processing it offers, which makes it an excellent choice for travelers. And yes, it’s one of the ways we take dreamy cabin photos of nice seats.

PriorityPass

Many people have PriorityPass through a premium credit card, but if you don’t, and like airport lounges, PriorityPass is offering up to a full 40% off access, and the sale is live.

In some parts of the world, the lounges can be fantastic and well worth the $20-$25 a visit, particularly if you enjoy a drink. With covid-19, it’s nice to have a quiet place to escape to, particularly as airlines remove lounge access from many business class tickets!

  2. Thanks Gilbert once again you have provided some unique deals and insights that are different from others. I know you’re not earning on all of these so thank you for all your hard work and it is much appreciated.

  3. Of course, I missed that VPN Black Friday deal that you mentioned, but I found this discount code somewhere on Reddit nordvpn.org/1yoffer. I think it is perfect for travelers because NordVPN’s advanced features make it one of the most reliable services for bypassing VPN blocks. It, therefore, comes as a surprise how easy the app is to use!

  4. Hi Gil, On the Radisson offer, I can’t tell from the terms and conditions if the secret code discount has to be used at the hotel where you received it. Does anyone know?
