In need of topping off your British Airways Avios (miles) balance? Single and looking to mingle? Wait… what? Whether you’re single, married or any potential maritial status on earth, you may suddenly be very interested in a Match.com or eHarmony membership. Why? They’re offering a ridiculous promo on Avios creating the cheapest way to buy Avios that we’ve seen…
Update: British Airways are trying to wiggle out of this promotion, awarding far less miles than are due to customers, or cancelling orders. If you ordered be SURE to get in touch and contest. They are trying to claim extra’s weren’t included, though terms and conditions didn’t exclude them. Contact British Airways via their online customer service portal. If you’re just now seeing this, don’t purchase.
First, Login To Your British Airways Account…
The standard Avios offer for either of these dating sites is around 70 Avios per dollar, but this week only they’ve doubled the rates, 150 Avios per dolar spent at Match.com and 130 through eHarmony. To score these bonuses you MUST login to the British Airways e-store and click over to purchase from either site while logged in. Be SURE to screenshot you clicking over, and purchase. If you don’t already have a BA account, make one, and then do this.
This offer is available through the U.S. Gate365 portal. For those located elsewhere, switching over to the U.S. version is easy, simply click change location at the top of the page of the store.
Now You Want To Purchase The Most Expensive Membership You Can Afford…
Get permission from your significant other, convince them they may want to join the singles market and then purchase a package from (ideally) both Match.com and eHarmony stores to maximize your earning. The Avios promotions apply to 1,3,6 and 12 month memberships, so be sure to select one of those packages. I’d personally recommend the 12 month package with both sites, grabbing 73,000 Avios for a nearly record low price!
There Must Surely Be A Catch?
The only slight catch is that you’ll need to actually fill out a Match.com or eHarmony profile to complete your purchase. This is going to ask personality questions, likes, dislikes, etc and completing it may take some time, definitely less than 30 minutes or so. If you’re outside of the U.S. you may want to find the zip code or address of your favorite hotel, since you may need to enter one, so your perfect match can be found. I’m sure it won’t be hard to take your profile offline or “no longer looking” once you’re done.
Whatever Package You Purchase, You’re Buying Miles For .67 Cents Each…
That’s madness. People go bonkers over far lesser opportunities, so if you’ve been looking to top off, this is an absolute no brainer. These purchases should absolutely track, especially since you’re already logged in, but be sure to screenshot each step of the process, just in case your Avios don’t post in the allotted time. If they don’t you’ll have the proof to force them to honor the promotion, though again, you shouldn’t have ANY problems. The Avios SHOULD be pending in your E-store account within 5 days. though it can take up to a month for them to post. It’s generally much faster For all questions and answers from the British Airways end, click here. Enjoy!
