New British Airways Summer Routes

Point to point, connection free travel is the goal and British Airways is launching two new summer routes in hopes of capturing the leisure market. From July 15th to September 2nd, the airline will operate a twice weekly service from London Heathrow to dreamy Ljubljana, Slovenia on Fridays and Mondays. 2019 is the summer to visit Ljubljana, before mainstream tourism takes full effect. A new flight route will also be launched between Heathrow and Montpellier, France on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Montpellier has often been called France’s most underrated city. Tickets are already on sale. There are no plans for Vilnius service, which the Lithuanian tourism board dubbed “the G-spot of Europe”…

Rapid British Airways Expansion

British Airways has opened an impressive number of routes in 2017, 2018 and flights are at full steam ahead for 2019. Nashville, USA became one of the most successful flights in airline history, setting the record for fastest route to “go daily”. New Orleans also continues to impress. British Airways has announced additional plans for Pittsburgh, Osaka and Charleston for long haul, as well as more Greek service, including the island of Kos for short haul. The introduction of buy on board and hand baggage only fares has made it easier for British Airways to compete on price in leisure markets.
