In many parts of the world, dining is more exclusive than ever due to covid-19. By exclusive, we mean almost exclusively served outdoors, rather than inside. But it’s not all bad news! Some of the world’s greatest restaurants are shifting gears to make fun new experiences for their patrons, including some of the most sought after Michelin starred delights.
Capital One is giving cardmembers a chance to join in on the fun, with an exclusive partnership between the rewards credit card brand and the Michelin Guide, providing unique access, incredible meals delivered to your home and virtual cocktail hangouts with some of the best chefs in the world, too…
Capital One x Michelin Guide
One of my favorite things to do in any city is to experience the cheapest and best street eats, but also see what fine dining means in a given location. Produce, seasonal ingredients and even spices are almost guaranteed to differ from city to city or country to country, and fine dining can be one of the most unique ways to get a crash course on it all.
When it comes to picking a spot, the Michelin Guide makes things pretty easy, with a massive list of cities where the guide’s inspectors have selected places worthy of one, two, or the insanely difficult three Michelin Star standard. Any restaurant holding a star should be worth the visit, and Michelin would argue a three star quality restaurant is worth the trip alone, wherever you’re coming from!
Capital One has now partnered with the Michelin Guide to provide cardmembers with unique access to tables, takeaway and events from celebrated restaurants, which kicks off with a handful of events across the USA.
In November and December, Capital One cardmembers can enjoy a special dinner for two delivered from a Michelin star restaurant, which includes a multi course meal and batched cocktails to pair for $150 all in. To make the meals feel even more festive from home, there’s also a virtual cocktail party with the celebrated chef behind the meal and a musical guest with each experience.
