Dear guest, unfortunately the only tables available this evening are after you’d usually be asleep, or while you’re still in the office. Whenever it comes to securing a sought after weekend table, that’s the message we’re used to. For Capital One cardholders, a new dining partnership with OpenTable now means they may hear that just a little bit less often, with priority access to top tables.
Capital One x OpenTable
OpenTable is one of the largest dining platforms in the world, and via a new partnership with Capital One, cardholders can access priority tables during peak weekend dining times, in some of the most popular foodie cities in America, including..
- Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New Orleans, New York City, Philadelphia, Portland, Richmond, San Francisco, Seattle, Washington DC.
The idea is that Capital One cardholders gain access to tables that would usually require redeeming OpenTable loyalty points to access, but cardholders can do so without cashing in any points. Think 8PM on a Saturday, when there are no reservations between 6-10PM.
How And Where It Works
Obviously not every restaurant is on OpenTable, and it would be a bit over the top to have VIP tables at every spot in each city. With that in mind, there’s a master list of all the restaurants where special tables will be withheld for Capital One cardholders under the priority table scheme.
Basically, link your Capital One account with OpenTable and then hope the table you want is part of this premium dining program, and you can bypass all your friends and appear infinitely cool, at least for the weekend
