Acquiring something for less than the value you know you can redeem from it is always a clever move. Buying points can be the way to save hundreds, even thousands on plane tickets, upgrades or unlock an aspirational trip using points. British Airways and french deal site Vente-Privee are offering an exceptionally good way to acquire points on the cheap, and at these prices you just might want to…
The Avios Deal
Did you know 37,500 Avios Points and about £99 could unlock Qatar Airways QSuites? We’re talking the business class suite with privacy door, and It’s true.

How To Buy Your Points
Click this link. You may want to also open a Google Translate window. Here’s a link to Google Translate. You’ll need to make a Vente Privee account to purchase points, and you’ll need a British Airways account too. Using Facebook or another method to open a Vente Privee account should work just fine. Vouchers for your points are issued online, so choosing your favorite Paris hotel and phone number for contact info is often the best play to complete the transaction. Your points will then be added to your existing British Airways account, wherever you are. You must redeem your voucher (not your points) by January 16th.
Not really good offer.
BUD-HKG r/t – min.160k avios + 3-400usd tax = apx 2400usd
But, you can buy this ticket from only 1.6k usd
So… save 800usd and earn 14-15k avios…
Yeah. low price for low value points as other comment. Today BA has incredibly low standards of service and delivery and despite the PR things for customers are not improving, in fact the only thing not low is the (net) fare cost when all the “extras” like baggage, food and seating are added… #flyabba or pay more for less
Why do I see 10% higher prices?
9,000 = 109 Euros
20,000 = 229 Euros
35,000 = 399 Euros
@=Jason it’s the same price. 229 € = 205 £

At least look at the links if you’re going to criticize. Use Avios for short flights in the US, Asia, or Australia.
7.5K for Seattle to San Diego or Chicago to Orlando AA or Alaska. 12.5K West Coast to Hawaii same carriers.
20K business HKG to either Singapore or Tokyo (Cathay Pacific or JAL)
There’s value in Avios if you bother to look instead of just criticizing.
That’s balazs d*mn autocorrect.
Looks like the recent amex £20 off £100 works on the French site.
journeyingjohn – I agree and disagree. Yes, BA are far from where they once were in terms of their product. However they HAVE made improvements over the past year in Business Class and economy. The new bedding and catering in business class is a huge step up, although it’s a huge step up from something that was very poor.
I do like the BA crews generally. Well the older more experienced ones anyway.
And the new J seat comes in just over six months.
Sorry just to add – as others have said Avios can be of huge value on other OW airlines. A real sweet spot is MEL-PER a route I use often on QF. Just sub of 4hr flight, flat beds, wide bodied aircraft, international style catering. It costs 11k Avios plus £80. For a route you never see being sold for less than £700.
