If you like Dublin, you’ll love Boston…

From Newbury St to Cambridge, Boston is a young and buzzing city worth visiting. There’s always a great concert, always a huge sporting event and there’s plenty of shopping, pub’ing, walking and sight seeing to do too. If you’ve been pondering a trip, now’s probably a good time to book, because there are round trip flights from London on major airlines from a mere £248 per person round trip.

The Flight Deals To Boston

Often referred to as Beantown, Boston is a blast. Home to MIT, Harvard, Boston University and more, the city often draws Dublin comparisons, but with so many neighbourhoods, there’s really something for everyone, whether you’re looking for quiet residential streets, boutique shops, superb seafood or a buzzy night out.

Aer Lingus, British Airways and Virgin Atlantic are battling it out with Norwegian to control the flow of passengers from London to Boston, and at the moment that means super low fares on one stop, or even direct flights. We’ve got all the juicy details below.

The Dates You Can Travel

All the lowest fares heat up on the 27th of October and last through till mid December when they black out for the December Holidays. They then do a full reboot on January 6th, lasting on almost any day of the month through the end of March. April is a bit hit or miss, but then they make one last victory parade in May, which is a really lovely time to visit.

Shockingly, many of the lowest fares don’t even have a significant “minimum stay” requirement, which means you could swing this together for just a long weekend. With flights under 7 hours in either direction, it’s a lot more manageable than one might think…

How To Book These Screaming Deals

Everybody loves a deal, don’t they? Boston is fun, and booking your travel should be too. We’ve made super easy to use links which take you directly to the best prices with each airline, so all you need to do is click, change the dates and do your thing. These flight deals don’t include a checked bag, but prices for one aren’t much higher. If you want to make it to the next level of travel nerd, read this piece on how to maximise your carry on. Here’s links to the best deals, like…

Don’t forget, since these tickets go to the USA, you have a full 24 hours from the time you book, to cancel for a full refund. At these prices, there’s really never been a better time to visit Boston, and on these airlines you’ll still get meals, entertainment and drinks – just like the old days. The checked bag is really the only thing missing.

  1. Hi Gilbert, thanks for the tip. Just a question colon is there a difference betweenn hot deals, crazy deals and amazing deals? What’s better?

  2. If you dont mind freezing like a popsicle then go for it. The dates you have selected put you dead middle of winter. Which in Boston can be colder then anything you will ever experience in Dublin.
