We have to admit, this business class flight is not totally free. It costs $5.60. Sorry ! Assuming you don’t have a big problem with that, there’s an extremely exciting card offer out right now, bringing you business class style, just for buying a latte. If that’s not the most lucrative deal out there, we don’t know what is…

60,000 Miles For One Purchase. Seriously…

The BarclayCard Aviator Red card is offering 60,000 American Airlines AAdvantage miles after making a single purchase. That’s right, your morning cup of coffee could quite literally be worth a free one way business class flight to Europe, Asia or South America, each of which require 60,000 miles or less for 7+ hours in a flat bed with fine dining and champagne! Solid!

The Card Has A $95 Annual Fee, But Free Checked Bags…

The card carries a $95 annual fee– but it also covers checked bags for anyone on your reservation. Meaning, if a bag is $25, and you have a round trip, you’ll save $50. If you have additional people traveling on your reservation, their bags are free too, meaning the $95 annual fee card can actually save you tons of money. Oh, and you get priority boarding, which is nice.

This Is a Perfect Way To Get Started In Points…

Those 60,000 points entitle you to fly on American, Cathay Pacific, Japan Airlines, Iberia, Finnair, British Airways, Qatar and countless other top airlines, enjoying some of the best business class offerings in the world, for just $5.60 or so in taxes and fees between the U.S. and Europe, Asia or South America. Since you can quite literally get the miles for a single coffee purchase, this makes points and miles accessible to anyone smart enough to investigate. Business class= awesome. Free business class= the best.

  1. One of my friends (who is…”large”…and wants to sit in the front of the plane where there is more room) decided to get into points and acquired a capital one card. After much scolding, I forced him to get this. He actually whined about the AF. After more scolding, he is set for a domestic RT flight in business class.

  2. It’s been over 7 weeks since my first (and only) purchase on this card, and I’m waiting for miles to show up for award flights I have on hold. According to my statement, I received the bonus miles yesterday but they are not yet showing up in my AAdvantage account.

My advice if you get this card and need the miles sooner rather than later: make your first purchase IMMEDIATELY and pay it and the annual fee off BEFORE your first statement closes.
