At any price, Qatar Airways Business Class is always a treat, but when you land a ticket during one of these super sales, you almost feel repentant, or as if you’ve stolen something while you enjoy dine on demand, fully flat beds with privacy doors and the other fine touches that make this the best package of a business class experience. There’s almost certainly someone who paid more for economy – and this is a long way from economy. Here’s how to get it for £1175 to Bangkok, or £1200 to Singapore…

The Qatar Airways Flight Deals

Qatar Airways offers dependably good pricing out of a few easy to reach European cities, and the savings can often make it worth using points or a cheap flight to venture over to one of these cities to enjoy the savings. In this go around, there are two distinctly good deals from Sweden, with £1175 Stockholm to Bangkok offers, and £1225 Gothenburg to Singapore deals as well. The same price to Singapore is also available from Oslo, Norway.

Stockholm is now seeing an increasing amount of flights offering the beloved Qsuite on the segment from Stockholm to Doha, and the onward flight from Doha to Bangkok offers the Qsuite on many A350 and Boeing 777 flight options.

For the Gothenburg or Oslo to Singapore deal, it’s unlikely to receive the Qsuite between Sweden and Doha, but you’re guaranteed the Qsuite for the longer flight between Doha and Singapore, on board the Airbus A350-1000 – which happens to be my favourite plane.

Here’s a review of the A350-1000 Qsuite experience, and one of the other A350 cabin.

The Dates You Can Travel

Each of these flight deals has distinctly different dates and days when you can travel, so let’s break them down nice and easy. After all, business class at these prices is worth a little reading…

Stockholm to Bangkok Dates – These offers are available for departures from Stockholm between Monday and Thursday, in early December 2019, and then January through mid June 2020, and again from late August through September 2020. You’ll need to stay at least four nights in Asia for the lowest fares and much longer is just fine too…

Gothenburg/Oslo to Singapore Dates – These deals are available for departures from Europe almost any day of the week from January 7th through May 31st 2020, and then back again in August and September. Locking in the lowest prices requires at least a five night stay in Asia, but longer is just fine too.

How To Book These Flash Sales To Asia

Asia… in a nutshell… is fun. It’s also delicious. Getting there in total comfort shrinks the planet and allows you to enjoy the destination from the get go, assuming you haven’t had one too many wine tastings in flight.

The best way to book these deals is directly with Qatar Airways, which shows more in depth flight information and whether you can expect the Qsuite on your flight or not. You can also use the 7 and 14 day price calendars to see if there’s a nearby date which will save you money on the return or the departure. You can book with Qatar Airways at QatarAirways.com. These deals are also available on Skyscanner, and you can find £1125 ARN-BKK here, and £1180 GOT-SIN here.

Here’s a few tips for Bangkok, and  a few tips for Singapore too…

  1. I fly out of Sweden in 3 weeks to Bangkok on Etihad but no interlining and if carrying baggage you need business to Europe.

I use Avios for that but I go this way only because the return routes back through London.

If not, add £500 plus uncertainty and risk for way more hassle.
