Let’s face it, America hardly ever ever gets business class deals worth shouting about. But $1560 for round trip transatlantic business class is shout worthy, it’s here today, and that’s exactly why we’re here. Oh, and if you have AARP, which anyone, regardless of age can sign up for, it’s as low as $1360 round trip. British Airways, American and Aer Lingus have fantastic deals to Dublin via sunny London, and with dates in 2019 and 2020, it’s a great time to plan.

The Business Class Deals

With an overnight flight, a place to stretch out makes all the difference, particularly after a couple glasses of champagne. British Airways and Aer Lingus are offering a variety of ways to get to Dublin via London, from New York (lowest) and Miami and Boston, with round trips coming in at $1560. By US business class “deal” standards, this is about as low as it goes these days.

If you book with British Airways for flights on any of these airlines, you can also use Avios Points to cover part of the cost of the flight as well, bringing things even lower. You’ve got choices between British Airways Boeing 777 and 747, the Aer Lingus Airbus A330 and the American Airlines Boeing 777 as well.

Don’t forget, select British Airways flights operated by the Boeing 777 out of New York will have the new Club Suite, which is worth seeking out wherever possible!

The Dates You Can Travel

These deals have limited dates in each month, but if for $1800 you can enjoy a much wider selection of dates. The lowest prices in the $1500s are available in December and April, but there are $1750 – $1950 flights available in January and February 2020, as well as November 2019.

You’ll typically find the lowest prices if you plan to stay at least three nights, departing New York on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Don’t worry, we’ve made example links to help you find the good stuff…

How To Book These Flights

These prices are well below average, and are actually fantastic for anyone looking to visit family over December holidays, or New Year, in addition to time around late April. Without further wait, here are links to the best deals from each city on Skyscanner, and British Airways…

If you sign up for AARP, you can instantly use the discount to knock up to $200 off the prices below, which makes a great deal even greater – again. Just login to your AARP online, go to member benefits and then select British Airways and click over…

Don’t forget that you can always use Chase Sapphire Reserve to book these tickets, using roughly 100,000 points to cover the flights, which is a fantastic value considering you’ll earn miles and elite status credit when you actually fly, unlike if you redeem another way.

It won’t help you on this purchase, but make sure to maximize your airfare purchaseswith a credit card like the Amex Platinum , Chase Sapphire Reserve or Citi Prestige which offer between 3x-5x points on airfare directly with airlines. Those points help miles add up faster than ever, give you options to save on new flights and carry great benefits too.

  1. AARP is often not working on I fares anymore. BA phone reps confirmed they dont give the AARP discounts on the lowest fares anymore, but terms and conditions have not been updated so YMMV.
