    Sold! A M A Z I N G deal, thank you

To put this in context (I fly this sector 16+ times annually) …
BA charge 2x-4x for same route / class operating 30 year old cabins often filthy and normally with broken AV and very worn seats… Fail to provision enough meals for all paying customers and further gouge for seat reservations and an assortment of extras
ie. BA = “Best Avoided” because they’re “Bloomin’ Awful” in 2017

  2. Completely agree journeyingjohn, I’ve been flying Virgin on this route recently, the 787s are great, wifi, good IFE, and 25% cheaper than BA.

I used to be BA Gold-Guest-List. About to drop to Bronze, haven’t been on their planes since flying CW back from Sydney in 2015 – they really annoyed me with their dangerous insistence on putting my 9 month old in my lap for takeoff/landing when we flew in First on the way out, rather than in the car seat we’d bought for him. I can forgive the dirty seat that I had on that flight (even in first), but not the safety impact.
