San Francisco is booming. Right next door to the tech capital of the world, top vineyards, great golf, better food and the Pacific Ocean- there’s something for everyone. Oh yes, and they have shopping too. For a limited time, you can make the 20+ hour round trip journey in a bed, for less than half the usual cost. That’s reason to celebrate. As always, it can be worth using points or a cheap flight to position to these cities, since savings will often still be tremendous.

The Business Class Deals To San Francisco…

SkyTeam airlines Air France, KLM and Delta are fighting British Airways for your holiday dollars, pounds or euros from Stockholm, Gothenburg, Dublin and Zurich. They’ve entered a price war- bringing the price down to €1200 round trip for a flat bed, airport lounges, multi course dining and of course, champagne. As far as 10+ hour flights go, you’ll get off this one feeling pretty blissful, depending on the intake of course. If this price is a bit steep, there are still great premium economy deals for less than half the price. You can even use points to upgrade those to business.

The Dates You Can Jet Off…

Dates are drying up fast but these fares are available in April of 2018. It’s possible that you can find other dates over the holiday and New Year periods, but we had the easiest luck pulling up these deals in April. Dublin and Zurich work over holiday and New Year.

How To Book These Flat Beds To San Francisco…

These deals are easy to find on Google Flights. Here’s an example link for Gothenburg, Stockholm, Dublin (slightly more) and Zurich, for a bit more. Simply play around with dates to find something that works and then follow the easy links to book.

  1. Too bad the fares are not available in the opposite direction. If they were I would be booked. Then again, I guess I could buy two trips, and just use one leg from each trip. The prices would still be cheaper than the $6652 round trip SFO-ARN-SFO ticket.

  2. Hey – Looking into this as “award from US to EU, buy a one way back” situation, I’m finding that the one way priced out the same as the RT, using ITA or Google. Am I missing something?
