Art is a very subjective matter. What some people may love, others will undoubtedly hate. Whatever your favorite style, whether it’s modern art, impressionism, abstract, surrealism or renaissance art, some art galleries simply stand above the rest, or are in places so special, the art is almost irrelevant. These outstanding art galleries around the world are sure to impress even the most astute of critics, while delighting any traveler with an affinity for amazing visuals…

What’s your favorite gallery?
While not technically just an art Gallery I would add the Vatican Museum, I would also give the Borghese Gallery (Galleria Borghese) at least honorable mention.
I favor the Chicago Art Institute because a) You don’t have to fly across the ocean to see it, b) It has a much more varied collection than MOMA. c) They have a fantastic impressionist exhibit. d) It’s an excuse to go to Chicago.
I love art galleries… but just visited The Louvre for now 🙂 still a lot to see! But that a great news, still a lot of trips to organise! Sylvain
