If you’re going to fly economy, every inch matters these days. With Emirates 18” seat width and pitch up to 34”, not to mention the largest entertainment screens in economy, the Emirates A380 is pretty darn nice around the margins, and actually downright comfy. The airline has launched its best fares in a long time for direct flights from New York JFK to Milan, and also on the Boeing 777 from Newark to Athens.
If either unique city is on your list, and avoiding crowds during shoulder season sounds like a great idea, jump on these hot fares while you can. They expire in around 13 hours…
The Emirates Deals To Europe
Emirates has round trip direct flights from New York to Milan and Athens on sale for $460 and $560 respectively, which is a great deal on any airline, but particularly good on Emirates. You still get meals, drinks and all the other stuff you’d hope for, and the seat is roomier than most of the competition. As noted, these deals expire tomorrow (October 4th) so if you want in, you’ll need to book today.
Side note: Swiss and British Airways have $459 flights to Athens all year, included dates in 2020, which may make more sense. There are even some dates from $385 round trip…
The Travel Dates For These Deals
Sadly, Emirates hasn’t given us a whole lot of flexibility here, but a window is better than no window at all. The flight deals to Athens and Milan are valid for travel between October 10th and November 30th, which gives just enough time for some spontaneous planning.
In both cases, you’ll need to stay in Europe at least four days, or through a Sunday, whichever comes first. This means you could theoretically leave on a Thursday and come back Monday to minimize days out of work. And yes, you can totally do Europe in a long weekend. It’s fun.
Again, there’s wider availability in 2020 with other airlines for flights to Athens, and lower prices too, so it’s just a question of when and who you want to fly with…
How To Book Emirates Flights To Europe
