Hello, Concorde Room…

You’ll probably have a conversation with someone that goes something like “It’s a lot of money but”. But that’s the problem with trying first class. You’ll try it, love it and want to do it again. Most of the year, it’s all fine because prices are too out of sight to even consider, but every once in a while an opportunity pops up where First Class prices are lower than traditional business class, and it’s hard to say no. This is one of those times, and if you combine first and business you can even bring prices under £1500…

The First Class Deals

British Airways First Class is pretty well documented, and it’s nice. We’re talking Concorde Room, great champagne, nice privacy and occasionally even the odd A-lister next door. It’s a great way to fly. British Airways is offering some of the lowest prices seen in quite a long time from both London and Inverness to New York and Nashville. If you choose Nashville, you’ll even get the enviable 787 Dreamliner direct. You can always combine business one way and first the other to bring the price down under £1500, to around £1450. Using “part pay with Avios” can to take the price even lower! Here’s what to expect on the Boeing 777 or the Boeing 747.

The Dates You Can Jet Off In Style

If New York is your game, you’ll do best in the month of March. Hey Spring is lovely in New York. There are additional dates in April and even more if you depart from London, but for the lowest prices from Inverness this is where you’ll luck out. For Nashville, there’s a great range of dates if you can swing a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday departure in April, July and August of 2019.

How To Book These British Airways First Class Steals

Ok, travel is one of the few times where £1600 could be considered a steal, but roll with it. These deals can be booked directly with British Airways here and will earn a very minimum of 420 tier points and 20,000 Avios round trip. Going for the slightly cheaper options from Inverness instead of London will make those numbers go up. Here’s links for the £1797 London to New York and £1787 London to Nashville deals. You can shave an easy £180 off, locking in £1625 by starting from Inverness in both cases. Here’s an example for New York, and for Nashville. You can also part pay with Avios or make a flight + hotel booking to save money or pay over time. Enjoy.

  1. After reading this deal booked from Glasgow-Nashville First Class in August. £1700 return each. Great price!

Another tip, We added a car hire which as it became a BA holiday gave a discount which resulted in the car hire being basically free and only required a 10% deposit with the remaining not due until July. Perfect given its January!
