Make Star Alliance Gold Again…

Cancun remains one of the best places to sit by a beach, drink something tropical with an umbrella and watch the world go by, one beautiful wave at a time. With increasingly sophisticated food and lodging options and a buzzing nightlife scene all around, it’s a great time to check Cancun out, and these business class deals make that the deal just a bit sweeter. Star Alliance has launched super low fares, and these likely won’t last long…

The Flight Deals To Cancun

Star Alliance Airlines Air Canada, United, Lufthansa and Swiss have launched an aggressive sale to Cancun, predominantly for travel originating in Italy. To get the lowest fares, you’ll need to make your way to Venice or Milan, in case you don’t actually live there, but if you do – you’ll enjoy fares about 50% less expensive than elsewhere.

The Dates You Can Travel

These great deals are available for travel from September 1st through to the end of the year, and then also during a few scattered dates in late January 2020. You’ll need to stay at least six nights in Mexico to lock in the lowest prices, but longer stays are a-ok too.

How To Book These Business Class Flights

Most Star Alliance sales such as this one tend to begin and end rather quickly. If you want in, firm up dates and get to booking while you still can. These deals are easy to book directly with the airlines, but you’ll typically save about £50 or more by booking via Skyscanner. Here’s links to each deal, so just click, change dates and play around, like…

Here’s everything you need to know about travel warnings concerning Mexico. The main thing to remember is that violence only takes place in the cities outside of Cancun, and is almost always gang on gang drug crime. Millions of travellers have great trips every week, so don’t be deterred.

  1. Great deal! As European expat living in Mexico, this will come in handy. Tourists should definitely not be deterred about visiting this amazing country from what they hear on the news. However, crime and violence does occur in Cancun (more than in many cities) so I did not get the comment you wrote in the last paragraph.

  2. I just got back from the area. As you may have read in the news they are having a big problem with sargassum seaweed although they are doing their best to fight it with barriers and collecting tonnes of it every day, some beaches are quite badly affected. We were down the coast a bit in Akumal, in the beautiful North bay, and there the sea wasn’t even accessible because of the wall of sargassum that had accumulated on the beach, such a shame as it is paradise! It also doesn’t smell too great… Apparently it stretches all the way from Cancun down to Tulum. Holbox was fine, completely clear. It wouldn’t stop me going back though, lots of other things to do during the day. Safety wise, thankfully no issues for us… it is a bit ‘raw’ in places if you venture out a bit, but we always felt fine.
