It’s like domestic first class, on new planes too…
Is premium economy worth it? You tell me after 15 hours in the air. Premium economy seats used by top airlines on international flights are often at least as good as “first class” on domestic flights within the USA and bring an easily defined amount of extra width, pitch and comfort. American Airlines has launched a compelling sale to Hong Kong, allowing you to stretch out and *almost* kick your feet up for just $930 round trip. That’s not a whole lot more than economy…
The Premium Economy Deals
American Airlines flies Boeing 777 wide body jets on their direct flight from Los Angeles to Hong Kong, and also on connecting flights via Tokyo. These planes offer American’s best premium economy seat, and the plane itself can help reduce jet lag, thanks to improved cabin pressure. American has premium economy deals to Hong Kong starting at just $930 round trip, with great deals from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, New York, Seattle and Las Vegas.

These great deals book into “H” class on American Airlines, which earns 100% mileage on many frequent flyer programs and can be booked as a “special fare” as well. Here’s the breakdown of mileage earning potential. These fare deals can also be upgraded using American Airlines upgrade certificates such as those from the Business Extra program. Enjoy Hong Kong!
It’s weird this doesn’t seem available from DFW but on connections through DFW. Typical for airline pricing I guess.
AA HKG flights are flown exclusively on 777-300ers…not the 787.
Pretty sure you meant to say Boeing 787 and not 777
