Think of the discount as partial advanced compensation for the experience you’ll have or part payment for the time and hassle involved in resolving issues when dealing with BA’s customer “service”. Alternatively, bringing the BA fare closer to offering value for money in the marketplace. Either way, consider the net cost of using BA vs. competitors and the challenges involved in getting them to resolve operational issues
