BrewDog is an independent craft brewer with their headquarters in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. It is here that the wildly popular brewers will open The Doghouse Hotel in early 2019. We absolutely love the name. The hotel will feature first of their kind in-room beer taps, and a built in shower beer fridge. Yes, the actual shower will feature a beer fridge so no time is wasted. The 26 rooms will also overlook the brewery itself for maximum heady effect. If you’re a beer fan there’s literally no better place to stay.
There’s soon going to be another reason to visit Walt Disney World and give them all of your money. An immerse Star Wars Hotel will open in 2019, where everything from check in to check out will bring you closer to your favorite movie series than ever. You’ll be sent on missions, Storm Troopers will patrol the lobby, windows will look out into virtual reality space and you can go as overboard as you wish. You are also allowed to relax, if that’s more your thing. May the force be with you, and your wallet – this one ain’t cheap.
The Conrad Rangali is hardly new, but the resorts newly unveiled penthouse design is instantly one of the most glamorous suites in the world. Yes, they’ve done it again. After bringing us the famous underwater restaurant, Ithaa, Hilton are now bringing an underwater residence. The two-level structure is set to open later this year and will have the main bedroom underwater with the main living areas above water. But this is no ordinary living area. We’re talking butlers quarters, living room, kitchen, bathroom, bar, two more bedrooms, outdoor deck and of course, your own infinity pool. Sitting 16 feet below the ocean’s surface, this is truly a one of a kind experience; although you may need to sell your house out to afford a night here. We hear it’s $30,000 per night.

The TWA hotel in JFK is my most exciting hotel. I wish Worldport had been turned into a hotel as I’m a much bigger Pan Am fan than TWA, but I’m super happy about this nonetheless. I think that Yogi Berra was mistaken when he said that “Nostalgia isn’t what it used to be.” This tops my list.
My wife is nuts about the Star Wars hotel. You’re doubtless right that it’s going to be pricey, but I foresee a visit next year. I’ll probably make some effort to pretend that I’m not loving it as well.
