Some bonus offers are so easy, and so good, that the only thing you can say is “why wouldn’t you?”. If you’re a Hilton fan and have hotel stays planned between September 9th and the end of the year, a new double points offer has emerged, which takes mere seconds to register for, and will ensure you earn at least double the points on all stays through January 5th, 2020. And yep, if you hold a Hilton credit card and use it to pay for your stay, you’ll earn 3x. That begs the question: why wouldn’t you?
The Hilton Q4 2019 Double Points Offer
Hilton’s “Power Up” offer couldn’t be simpler. You register here, and then once registered, all stays between September 9th and January 5th will earn double points. No max, no restrictions, pretty much every Hilton portfolio hotel applies, and there’s no minimum stay either. As noted, if you have a Hilton credit card in any market, and pay for your stay with said credit card, you’ll earn not double, but triple points! Wahoo! A Diamond member with the right credit card could earn 54 points per dollar spent…
Elite bonuses aren’t factored into the double or triple points promos, which means you can make out with substantially more points if you’re a Hilton Silver, Gold, or Diamond member…

Just because no one likes missing out on bonus points, there are a few little points to clarify. As far as dates go, you must check out on or before January 5th, so a stay beginning January 5th, or ending on the 6th of January wouldn’t count, as fair or unfair as that may be. On the beginning end of the promo you can check in before September 9th, as long as you check out on or after that date. If you do have a stay bridging those dates, it might be worth splitting the bookings, so that at least part of it ends on the 5th or before, and then book the rest separately. What does double points mean? “Double Points” means you will receive a bonus equal to the number of Base Points earned during a stay. All Hilton portfolio brands are taking part, including Waldorf, LXR, Conrad, Canopy, Hilton, DoubleTree, Hilton Garden etc. Basically, if it’s for sale on Hilton.com, it’s def included. That’s pretty much it from our end. Go forth, book some stays and enjoy the double points.

Do you know if I can earn double points on my stay using points booked before the promo has been announced?
Hey Vinka, generally you never earn points on stays that were booked with points. If you were to rebook those as cash dates, they’d be eligible. Bookings prior but consumed during are just fine.
Looks like this offer is also not working, same as the 7500 point offer.

Nope. You got my hopes up there, but it is not a Hilton credit card in any market, it is only American Express Hilton cards. My Hilton Visa is ineligible.

Have yet to be able to register. Keep getting this error message, after going through the whole process (and even after signing into my Hilton account):

Correct, in order to receive stay credit and points virtually all chains require direct booking via their official channels.
Hilton Double Points link is not working.
Finally got it working. Spent an hour on the phone with Hilton today. It was supposed to go live today, but they had some issues with it that are fixed now.
