Tel Aviv is a nice city, and definitely worth visiting, you will find nice beaches and good food. Here you can read what to do in 48h in Tel Aviv.

Swiss is selling now some cheap Business class tickets to Tel Aviv with a short stop in Zurich. The Long flight from Zurich to Tel Aviv is operated by an Airbus A330 with lie flat seats. Flight numbers from Zurich LX256 for the outbound and LX257 for the inbound flight.

Other Star Alliance member like Austrian Airlines and Lufthansa offer similar fares. But you won’t have lie-flat seats with them as they are operated by short haul aircraft, so pay attention to choose Swiss via Zurich.

Travel Dates

Those fares are available from August this year until end of February next year.

  1. Be careful with this offer. I booked the same deal last year for a trip this May. It was meant to be flat bed seats but this was changed to an inter Europe aircraft soon after which is similar to BA club Europe. The flights were cancelled by Swiss in March due to Coronavirus but I am still awaiting any refund as Swiss are saying the flights are non-refundable even though they cancelled the flights. I have started a chargeback via Amex but Swiss have told them I was refused enters into Israel which is a complete lie. Check the Swiss air forum on flyer talk to see the many issues with Swiss and gaining refunds despite cancelling flights and apparently abiding by EU law.
