Skymiles for the win. Flat bed style…

Let’s be honest – traveling in a bed is always the dream. Going anywhere is a treat, but enjoying lounges, fast tracks and a cozy bed with perhaps a (few) glasses of champagne makes any trip extraordinary. Delta is now offering an exciting flash sale, which allows you to cash in Skymiles for flat beds at excellent rates. You can take your pick of the best European cities, with plenty of U.S. departure gateways. Like many good deals, availability won’t last long, so here’s how to book your business class bed for fewer than 100,000 points round trip. Europe time!

The Delta Skymiles Flash Sale

Delta One has seriously improved in recent years, with upgraded bedding and mainly food and beverages. The lounges are nice and lets be honest – you really shouldn’t complain about well, anything when you fly up front. Unlike many Skymiles flash sales which focus on the economy cabin, this one centers around business class with opportunities to fly to: London, Barcelona, Dublin, Munich, Frankfurt, Brussels, Madrid or Paris. Eight U.S. departure cities are offered up including Atlanta, Boston, Cincinnati, Detroit, Minneapolis, New York, Raleigh Durham and Seattle. Oh and don’t forget – you can transfer Amex Points to Delta Skymiles to book these too…

The Flash Sale Travel Dates

It’s all about the details, right? A round trip purchase is required, which will cost 98,000 Skymiles and roughly $100-$200 in cash, depending on the city. These business class points deals must be booked by midnight tomorrow, November 15th. You can travel from December 24th, 2018 thru May 27th, 2019 which means you may even make it home (or as far away as possible) in time for the holidays.

How To Book Business Class

Enough with the time wasting, there’s beds on the table for far fewer miles than Delta usually charges. Simply head to this link to check out the deal page, login to your account and search. Be sure to use the “flexible dates” button and select “Delta One”. A 5 week calendar is the best way to go, since it will show all the dates when these fantastic deals are available. These will not last, so firm up dates and book… like now.

Are you booking one of these great Skymiles deals?

  1. The list of departures cities on the Delta sales page is not exhaustive, either, so it is worth searching from your home airport before thinking about finding a positioning flight to a hub. Las Vegas, for instance, has a ton of flights to many of the destinations at the listed price of 98,000 miles and $50 – $150 in taxes and fees per person. Very solid sale.
