Party in the city where the heat is on.
Will Smith said it best, and there’s really just not much more to add. Miami is warm, buzzing fun and the excitement is everywhere. From cultural gatherings like Art Basel to all out parties such as Ultra Music Festival, there’s always something going on in the city, and only 2-3 hours from most of the country, it’s the perfect easy weekend getaway. Right now there are flights from at least 5 US cities which bring Miami just $125 away…
The Miami Flight Deals
There are great flight deals to Miami/Ft. Lauderdale on JetBlue, United, Delta and American starting at just $101 round trip. For a sunny getaway, that’s really not bad. The best deals are available from New York, Atlanta, Charleston, Nashville, Austin and Chicago. Most of the very best deals are for travel in March and April, which happens to be a great time to visit Miami. Simply using these Google Flights examples and play with dates to suit your needs, like…
p.s. Chicago, you deserve some sunshine.
The Basic Economy Cure
Some of these deals are basic economy, others are not. There’s always one way to instantly bypass basic economy woes, and it’s to carry the credit card of the airline you’re flying and fly often. Keyword: fly often with that airline to justify having the card. The other cure: fly JetBlue, which doesn’t make customers feel like cattle.
Yep, if you have a complimentary checked bag and zone 1 boarding via a credit card, you can buy any basic economy fare with that airline and it’s going to make it as if you’re not actually flying basic economy (learn more here).
If an airline card makes no sense for you, buying up to regular economy with most of these deals still only runs around $150 round trip, which is an awesome price for a fun winter/spring getaway like Miami.
Your photo promoting Miami Beach shows us a completely flooded Miami Beach. Doesn’t look very appealing 🙁
