If you haven’t heard of the Qsuite – where have you been hiding?

Three years ago, Qatar Airways introduced the first business class cabin to have privacy doors at every seat, and to this day, it remains one of the two most luxurious and refined business class cabins in the sky. The thing is, it’s more than a seat – it’s dine on demand food, wine worth drinking and massive entertainment screens.

You care, because flying is really about seeing the amazing places the world has to offer, and when you can get there feeling fresh after a good nights sleep, it’s the best. Right now, Qatar has amazing offers to Delhi, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Mumbai and Cape Town from a variety of cities, starting at just $2400 all in. And yes, you can earn a bunch of miles too…

Qatar Qsuite Business Class Deals

Qatar has launched some exceptionally good fares – particularly by US standards – from both East Coast and West Coast, with Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Mumbai, Delhi Johannesburg and Cape Town as the key destinations.

You can depart from: Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Houston or Montreal.

The standout deals (all round trip) are…

  • $2380 Los Angeles to Kuala Lumpur
  • $2500 Montreal to Cape Town
  • $2700 Chicago to Bangkok
  • $3100 New York to Johannesburg
  • $2400 Los Angeles to Penang
  • $2900 New York to Mumbai
  • $3100 Houston to Singapore
  • $3100 Los Angeles to Cape Town

Even if you don’t live in one of these cities, it could very easily be worth using a few miles or finding a cheap flight to position yourself, since the savings can be in the $1000s. These deals even allow for travel over peak summer, when you could pay similar prices, or at least prices close enough to justify splurging for the insane amount of comparative comfort.

The Travel Dates

Each deal offers slightly different dates, but for the most part, you can find options at these prices in every month of 2020. You’ll typically do best if you look for US departures between Monday and Thursday, which tend to offer the lowest prices. Basically, Fridays and Saturdays are mostly “no go’s” for finding the lowest prices.

A minimum stay of one week is typical on these deals, so plan to be away for at least a week. Longer is absolutely fine, but shorter will mean higher fares. Qatar Airways has a really easy to use 15 day flexible date calendar on its website, which helps to find the bargain prices.

How To Book These Flights

Qatar Airways has these offers for direct bookings, and for ease of use, and the potential of booking a stopover in Doha (with hotel) for just $25, it may be your best bet. But it’s worth noting that you can typically find the fares up to $100 lower with online travel agencies like Kayak and Skyscanner. Here are a couple examples.

Here’s a review of the full Qatar Airways Qsuite experience, a few tips for Bangkok, more for Singapore and everything you might want to know about safety and must do’s in Cape Town. Where are you heading with these bargains?

PS – don’t forget you can earn miles with American, British Airways and other Oneworld programs, which can create an amazing rebate from these flights.

  1. Looking forward to the Q Suites (finally) coming to Atlanta in March. And keeping fingers crossed they’ll be offering special deals here as their introduction to the Atlanta market.
