It’s a bird, It’s a plane, It’s….Oh My God is That A?!!!!! If you are laughing while writing you are doing something right. If you are sitting in an airport terminal and laughing, something even better is going on. Ryanair is best known for its value fares and quick turnaround but folks in Dublin were recently treated to a Ryanair ground crew art display….
I can’t even begin to imagine the scene in the terminal as nervous passengers, worrying if snow will ground their flight, watch this giant “rocketship” come to life in front of their eyes. These days you’ve got to love an airline with a sense of humor. After being alerted to the issue, Ryanair responded with the statement.
“While our ground crew excel at industry leading 25-minute turnarounds, art isn’t their forte, as they’ve clearly forgotten to draw wings on their snow airplane.”
I cant help but be reminded of a great scene from Austin Powers….
I am not the first to report this but I simply could not help myself. A big hat tip to my personal favorite travel blogger Gary Leff, of View From The Wing, for bringing this story to light for me. Since I am not a “professional journalist” I can reveal that the image of mothers covering up their children’s eyes while holiday party people laugh uncontrollably snapping instagram photos is simply priceless.
