It’s only like the best place for winter sun…

There are some destinations where one visit is enough. No judgement. South Africa is not one of those places. How can you go to Cape Town and not want to go back? How can you possibly go on safari and not dream of returning? South Africa is a place which requires at least two or three trips to feel as if you’ve done it, and if you’d like to make the long haul overnight journey in style, there’s a great deal which has received new life…

The Business Class Deals

British Airways has relaunched their deals from Amsterdam to Johannesburg and Cape Town, in light of other airlines jumping on the bandwagon! KLM and Lufthansa have dipped their toes in as well! Brussels and Athens flights to Johannesburg are available for just a bit more, if that’s more convenient. If you fly British Airways you have the choice of the 747 to Cape Town, or A380 to Johannesburg.

The Dates You Can Jet Off

These deals are available all throughout 2019, even into September and October. There will be brief blips, like early February where they are tough to find. For most of the deals, a Sunday night stay is all that’s required, which is incredible. For the Cape Town flights, you’ll need to depart on a Friday or Saturday, which should be handy for most! Johannesburg, you can pretty much pick your day. Now, All you need now is to figure out when to visit and book something fantastic. Oh, and if you have Avios Points, you can upgrade these deals to first class, assuming there’s seats available.

How To Book These Flights

You can book these flights directly with British Airways here, by entering AMS to JNB or CPT. For other airlines, here. Remember to read the date rules for the flights above carefully before you complain, because these deals are hot and we ain’t listening! Cape Town will price out slightly cheaper than Johannesburg, and if you wish to see both, you can always “open jaw“. Oh, and here’s a few things you simply must do in Cape Town. You’d be crazy not to!
