Let’s cut to the chase, TAP Air Portugal is running a crazy 50% off promo. While you can book cheap economy for around £313 round-trip, it’s the one-way business class from Europe that really interest me.
We regularly see TAP business class out of Oslo for around £505 one-way, this promo can get that price down to around £326 on some routes.
That’s insane!
If TAP is trying to grab some attention as it launches new routes to the U.S. and starts flying new aircraft, this is certainly one way to do it!
I can’t imagine these fares will last long so get to booking.
The TAP Air Portugal Flights
Premium Flights flagged several routes with business class flights for as little as €372 out of Helsinki and €556 out of London. Here are a few one-way business class options they found:
- Helsinki to Toronto: €326
- Paris to New York JFK: €337
- Copenhagen to Boston: €337
- London to Boston: €487
Keep in mind TAP Air Portugal operates A330s to the U.S. but only some have lie-flat seats. Considering it’s a daytime flight, that shouldn’t be a deal breaker though.
Eligible Travel Dates
If you want to book, you don’t have much time. Not only are these tickets going fast but you have to book by February 10 at 6:59pm ET — that’s this Sunday! You also need to start your trip by February 28 and, if you want to include a return flight on your itinerary, you need to return by December 31.
How To Book
To get a sense of what dates will provide the best price for you, we’d suggest searching with Google Flights — this will also let you see if your preferred flight has lie-flat seats.
Once you have narrowed down your possible travel dates, head over to TAP Air Portugal to book. To get the promo rate, you’ll need to use one of the following promo codes:
- TP50
- TAP50
- MEGAPROMO50
You can also include a stopover in Lisbon for up to five days so, if you’re into wine, perhaps you can fit in a few extra days on this trip.
How To Make It Work If You’re In The U.S.
If you’re in the U.S., you won’t find these excellent prices from your home airport but you can pair one of these flights from Europe with an award flight on the outbound. If you don’t mind Europe in the winter, this is a perfect excuse to burn some miles and points on an award flight across the Atlantic.
Since a number of airlines often have award space within two weeks of departure and this isn’t peak travel season, you’ll have a solid shot at finding award space too.
You mean return by December 31, 2019, not March.
Haha, yes. Not sure what was on my mind! Thanks.
