Stranger Things 2
If you haven’t seen the first series, then start there, but otherwise Stranger Things 2 is definitely one of the best shows of the year. Spooky, mixed with comedy, great acting and music that will take you right back to the 80’s.

Only seven episodes each around 50 minutes long, you can get through the whole season in one long haul flight – and once you start you won’t want to stop. Gripping all the way through, and if that’s not enough, you can always read the book on your next flight too.

Watch Richard Ayoade travel through different cities for 48 hours with a fellow comedian while they discover some of the best things to see, do and eat. Entertaining and educational, keeping you amused all the way to your next destination.

Curb Your Enthusiasm (Season 9)
If anyone’s been missing a bit of Larry David in their life, they will be happy to know – he’s back! Situational humour that everyone can relate to with every episode cleverly doing a full 360.

Narcos (Season 3)
Even without Pablo Escobar making it to this season, the Colombian drug scene was still going strong. Amazingly well filmed, acted and – even might just have you wanting to book your next trip to Colombia.

Line of Duty (Series 4)
One of the best shows to hit our screens in recent times – all the seasons are excellent, but the 6 episodes of season four will have you gripped to your seat for the whole flight.

If you’re looking for some intense, slightly shocking but extremely well done television, then this show will keep the tension so high you will forget you’re even on a plane.
