Afternoon tea in economy, anyone?
There are lots of stories these days about how flying economy is worse than ever. While the perks may not all be what they once were, there’s never been a better time to fly. Literally: we’re living in the golden age of travel, and if you want serious proof – look no further than these deals. Who would’ve thought there’d be a time when you could jet off to New York, Boston, Miami, Orlando, Los Angeles or San Francisco for under £300 round trip, let alone on an airline like Virgin Atlantic?
The Virgin Atlantic Flight Deals
We’ll let you in on a little secret. Airlines say “sale” almost every day of the year, and the real best prices are rarely ever publicly announced. Today is a perfect example. There are round trip flight deals to both coasts of the USA starting at a mere £260 round trip, and these deals include meals and drinks and all the usual entertainment. You don’t get a checked bag included at these prices, but going carry on only is easy, seriously. If you want a checked bag and free seating assignment the fares are about £40-£50 more. Here are the best deals, like…
- £260 Orlando.
- £260 Boston.
- £270 New York City.
- £280 San Francisco.
- £292 Miami.
- £305 Los Angeles.
The Flight Deal Dates
If you want to take advantage of these amazing flight deals, you’ve got options from November 2018 thru March 2019. There will be some blackout dates around peak December holidays, but these deals are wide open and available. A Saturday night stay is required, but that’s the only requirement, so you could theoretically leave Thursday or Friday and come back Sunday or Monday for the perfect long weekend trip.
How To Book
You can book these deals directly with Virgin Atlantic here. Simply search in November, December, January, February or March for a trip that includes a Saturday night in any of the cities, and book! If you find an afternoon flight, Virgin Atlantic does an afternoon tea service by Eric Lanlard, even in economy! If you’re struggling to find the prices, here are examples for New York, Boston, Orlando, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Play with dates, and head over to Virgin and just plug everything in. Here’s how to spend 48 hours in New York, San Francisco or Los Angeles. Enjoy!
