WOW. These are some serious deals. Why you ask? Because WOW Air, the Icelandic discount carrier is expanding to New York’s Newark airport and they want to impress their new clientele. You can currently book round trip tickets to Iceland for less than $200 bucks and you can stop in Iceland on the way to your European vacation in Paris, London, Amsterdam or Berlin for just $300!

The DEALs

WOW Air is offering promotional fares to kick off their (new) New York flights. What makes this amazing is that you can visit one of the “hottest” destinations right now, Iceland, for just $199 round trip. To experience the northern lights of Iceland and then continue on to the rich culture and experience of Europe like Paris, London, Amsterdam or Berlin, you basically just pay $100 more, $298 round trip! That’s ridiculous value to knock a few places off the bucket list. If you’d prefer to go directly to London, Norwegian is offering round trips under $350 as well…

The Dates

For WOW Air, There’s wide spread availability from November 25th through December. You may also be able to find dates into the New Year. For Norwegian to London, dates are available from January to March of 2017. Searching is EASY on WOWair.us and Norwegian.com where you’ll see an entire calendar month with the lowest fare for each date. Why can’t all airlines do that?!

Booking

Nothing clever here! Just head to Wow Air, search your desired dates, look for the lowest rates and book something awesome. Remember, if you’re headed to Europe, a stopover in Iceland is included and you can stay as short as possible or longer depending on your plans. What a trip!

Expert Tips

It’s worth looking into advanced seat assignment options and extra legroom if you are looking to get some sleep. The flight to Iceland is relatively short at just 3-4 hours and it also breaks up the rest of the journey to Europe, making this very attractive. Be sure to also pre purchase any checked bags you know you’ll need… like a Winter coat.
